Inktober is a challenge to create an ink drawing every day in October and post it.
This young person has received a big surprise. I like to think it was a good one, like a new puppy or bike. He certainly looks speechless!
This drawing was created from a photo by Ben White found on Unsplash.
Painting
Crossing the Lake is a painting I did a while ago, and I may have posted it last year, but I wanted to display it because it raises so many good memories. I was a Ranger – an older Guide – and then I was in a co-ed Rover group – Scouting from 18 to 26 if I remember right. We did a lot of canoeing and wilderness camping. Good times and wonderful companions.
This painting is acrylic on stretched canvas and is 14×11 inches.
