inktober: a challenge to create an ink drawing every day in October and post

Dancing has always been a favourite pastime for me. Either he is dancing or jumping for joy. Either way it brought a smile to my face.

Tea Cup Quilt

I made this quilt top a few years ago, before Covid. A friend of mine machine quilted it beautifully.

This is not a very clear picture. The center star is surrounded by a circle of appliqued tea cups. Each cup and saucer was carefully cut from floral material so there was a complete flower on each.

The finished quilt was entered in a local fair and won in its category! It is the only quilt I have ever entered in a show.

Painting

Here are a couple of chickadees in winter. Chickadees are such tame little things that it is possible to get rather close to them. You can even get them to eat out of your hand.
