INKTOBER is a challenge to artists to produce an ink drawing every day in October and post it.  This year I decided to have a theme – connections.  These are my drawings.

October 1st

My knitting is a connection with my grandmother, mother, and daughter.

October 2nd

Two methods of connection – a phone connection is obvious, but the connection between the artist and the viewer can be just as compelling as a ringing bell.

Spiders are experts at creating connections.

Teams work better when there is a connection between teammates.

Tree huggers are building connections with nature.

A gift of a bouquet of flowers can build connections.

A wolf pack work together as a team. There is a strong connection that holds them together.

The bees in a hive are so connected that they form one hive brain.

Even a dog and cat can form a strong connection.

A rooster makes a connection with every hen in the chicken yard.

October 23rd

Play with a cat – it will increase your connection with it.

A committed relationship is an intricate connection.

These rail cars connectors are very strong.

Rabbits are notorious for making connections…and making connections…and making connections……

Children and pets can make very strong connections.

An artist seeks to make a connection with his creation and with those who see it.

Honour the connection between all people by offering a hand up to someone who needs it.

A grandmother/granddaughter hug demonstrates the connection between them.

October 31st

A loving hug at any age is the ultimate symbol of a profound connection.
