Painting

The painting of the kayak in white water was done several years ago. Though I have never taken a kayak through white water I have run a canoe down rapids many times.

Temari Ball

I call this temari Feathers, for obvious reasons. This ball was divided into six sections and each feather stretches over two sections.  The colours of the feathers are much more vibrant than shows in these photos.

The top and bottom of the ball is done in the flax leaf stitch. The ball is 31.5 cm around.
