Innocence

Innocence

Inktober is a challenge to create an ink drawing every day in October and post it. This is the second year I have taken the challenge.

The sixth drawing continues the theme of children’s portraits. The big eyes and cupid mouth add up to a face of complete innocence. Do I believe it? No way. This little boy with his calm stare probably gets into as much mischief as he can, just like any other two to four year old.

This drawing was inspired by an image by bess.hamiti@gmail.com from Pixabay.

Painting

The painting In His Natural Habitat is of my Grandson and his computers. I decided to put him outside because it was more interesting than walls and it was in harmony with the title of the piece. This is where you will find him most of the time.

This painting is acrylic on stretched canvas and measures 11×14 inches.
