Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. I have been ill and spent most of the last week and a half in bed.
Here is the painting I have been working on lately, the Kiss. I am not sure if it is done or not, however I wanted to show it.
… there was someone, once, long ago.
The Kiss is acrylic on stretched canvas, 16×20 inches.
Green Temari Ball
This ball doesn’t have a name, so if you can think of something better than the Green Ball please let me know!
Done on a pale green base, it was divided into a C10 marking with 12 faces. The flower medallions are done in a variegated thread, pale green and white. The flowers are separated with a continuous tri-wing stitch in green with the centers filled in with a dark green and a white French Knot right in the middle.
Mystery Quilt
Well Bonnie K. Hunter’s Mystery Quilt had its big reveal a week ago! Follow the link if you want to see what it looks like! I am no where near finishing my quilt top. There are seven steps before we can put it all together. I am working on step four!
The fourth section is several hundred small hour-glass blocks. I am about half way there. Have made almost no progress in the past week, but I am back at it now.
